Wild Ace Pizza & Pub in historic downtown Greer celebrated one year in business Saturday, May 1st. Despite the past year’s economic climate, this business has not just survived an entire year, but thrived. 75% of the original staff are still employed and part of the familiar faces customers enjoy with each visit to the restaurant. Loyal employees, loyal customers, high quality and high standards are what set this casual restaurant apart from the competition.
Owner, Denise VandenBerghe stated, “We have met some amazing and wonderful friends since we opened the doors to our community in Greer. In our first year, we made it a priority to not just serve our community, but give back to the community by getting involved with local organizations such as Greer Relief, Greer Ministries, Greer Arts Council, Local K-12 Schools, Greer Chamber, Greer Development, and Relay for Life. Pizza is our passion, but we are so much more than a pizzeria. All of our pizzas are hand-tossed, topped with 100% mozzarella cheese, Wild Ace’s own specially spiced tomato sauce, finished with fresh toppings, and baked in a brick oven. Other menu items include wings, fresh salads, calzones, specialty hot hero sandwiches and mouth watering desserts. Wild Ace offers full service dine-in, patio dining, take-out, limited delivery and catering services.”
With its World War II Fighter Ace theme, The Wild Ace represents an era of days gone by as the neighborhood pizzeria with great food and an upbeat atmosphere. The restaurant boasts 109 world class craft beers, a variety of wines, and specialty drinks for adult patrons, while a kid’s menu and model airplanes are given to the children. There is truly something for everyone at Wild Ace Pizza & Pub. The restaurant is open from 11am – 11pm Monday through Saturday.
