Valley Grinding &Manufacturing Announces Expansion to Greer

The Greer Development Corporation and the Spartanburg County Economic Futures Group are pleased to announce that Valley Grinding & Manufacturing is expanding operations to open a new facility in Gateway International Business Park in the City of Greer and Spartanburg County.

Valley Grinding was in 1987 in the heart of Wisconsin’s paper-rich Fox River Valley. Valley Grinding began with a focus on providing cutting tool sharpening services for nearby paper mills and paper converters. Since then, Valley Grinding has expanded its operations to include manufacturing and has earned a reputation of being a trusted supplier of quality industrial blades, knives, and various other cutting tools and grinding services. Valley Grinding manufactures a wide variety of circular knives, bottom bands, flat knives, solid carbide and solid ceramic razor blades, specialty knives, and a patented TRU-FIT split band. In addition to VG’s manufacturing and grinding services, Valley Grinding offers in-house consulting services, slitter training seminars, and assistance to customers in cutting tool design and material upgrades to provide longer tool life.

Valley Grinding maintains its corporate office in Little Chute, Wisconsin, In recent years, it has added multifunctional service centers in Atlanta, Georgia; Columbus, Ohio; and Shreveport, Louisiana. Valley Grinding’s facility in Greer will open in November.
