Travelers will have a new option for flights out of Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport beginning in June. United Airlines is adding a new nonstop flight from GSP to Denver International Airport beginning June 7.
The new daily flight will be using an Embraer 175 aircraft with 76 seats and will include first-class seating.
The outbound flight will leave GSP at 6:00am and arrive in Denver at 7:31am (Mountain Time). The inbound flight will leave Denver at 5:30pm (Mountain Time) and arrive back at Greenville-Spartanburg International at 10:38pm.
“We are pleased to continue to expand our relationship with United Airlines,” said GSP president and CEO Dave Edwards. “Denver is one of the top ten cities that GSP passengers visit the most.”
“We are thrilled to bring additional United service to Greenville-Spartanburg and the customers of South Carolina with our new daily non-stop service to Denver,” said United vice president of Denver hub Steve Jaquith. “Offering customers new service to Denver gives them even more opportunities to connect to the Rocky Mountain region and beyond. We’re looking forward to connecting Greenville-Spartanburg customers to the hundreds of domestic and international destinations in United’s network.”
Denver will be the fifth nonstop location that United will fly out of GSP. They currently fly to Chicago O’Hare, Newark, Houston, and Washington Dulles.
United will be the second airline flying GSP to Denver. Frontier began flying that route in September 2018.
