Stomping Grounds Expands with Bakery Addition

Stomping Grounds Coffee House and Wine Bar is expanding into the baking business, offering house-made baked goods at its location at 208 Trade Street in Greer Station, Greer’s Hip and Historic Downtown.

Lisa Suber, owner of Stomping Grounds, said, “Stomping Grounds is very excited that Sheila Springfield is coming to join us. We know she will be a great asset to our community.”

Sheila Springfield, who used to operate Lunch & Such, will bake all of the products in-house. The addition of Springfield and the bakery will allow Stomping Grounds to offer new soups, breakfast specials, baked goods, and quiche. Patrons can also call in to order cakes, pies, tomato pies, and quiches.

Suber said, “We are elated to be able to offer a whole new variety of baked goods and to be able to sell whole cakes and pies.”

Sheila will also be the catering manager for Stomping Grounds. They will be able to cater large and small events, provide box lunches and trays for corporate gatherings, and host events in-house such as bridal showers, baby showers, and birthdays.
