SC Works Upstate and SC Works Greenville are now accepting applications for Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Grants. IWT grant funds totaling $80,113 will be available for the businesses located in Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties. IWT grant funds totaling $112,453 will be available for the businesses located in Greenville County. The IWT grants are being issued for employers to upgrade the skills of their current employees. IWT grants provide opportunities for training in programs ranging from computer skills to manufacturing skills specific to industries.
Applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by committees of the Upstate Workforce Development Board and the Greenville County Workforce Development Board to determine awards to businesses.
