SC Works Upstate Accepting Applications for Worker Training Grants

SC Works Upstate is now accepting applications for Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Grants.  IWT grant funds will be available for the businesses located in Cherokee, Spartanburg and Union counties.  The IWT grants are being issued for employers to upgrade the skills of their current employees. IWT grants provide opportunities for training in programs ranging from computer skills to manufacturing skills specific to industries. Please only apply for training that begins on or after March 31, 2019.

Applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by committees of the Upstate Workforce Board to determine awards to businesses.

Application Deadline Date:  5:00 p.m., Friday March 22, 2019. No late applications, regardless of postmark, will be considered.
