Pour Sports Pub opens in Greer Station

Pour Sports Pub has officially opened for business in downtown Greer at 302 Trade Street, with a collection of large screen TVs and vintage sports decor.

Owner Vaughn Bragg shared his reason for choosing Greer, “We chose Greer because it reminded me of Hershey. Everyone is friendly and I get a home town feel. We also saw the need for a sports place to help round out the choices of where to go and what to do in downtown. Everyone has been helpful and seems to enjoy the idea.”

Vaughn and manager Renee brought a little of Pennsylvania down with them when they moved here, as is evidenced by a menu strong on cheese steak. But a taste of Philly is not the only thing Pour Sports brings to downtown; the pub also features pool tables and skee-ball.

Pour Sports Pub will open at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and at 2:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Last call is at 1:30 a.m.

“We hope to make the downtown an enjoyable place to visit, with something for everyone,” Vaughn said. “We want Pour Sports to be a part of Greer’s growth. We hope to be here for a long time.”
