New boutique provides gift ideas for all occasions, celebrates southern-inspired lifestyle
Only Southern Made, a retail shop featuring unique gift ideas and home accessories that celebrate the southern lifestyle, has opened its storefront in downtown Greer. The new shop is located at 102 Trade Street and is run by partners, friends and moms, Kim Banks, Lindsay Chastain and Liza Jones.
From candles to tea towels and jewelry to home décor, many of the store’s offerings include local and handmade items by independent artisans based across the Southeast.
“Here, we know being southern isn’t about perfection with pearls and bowties, it’s about keeping it real, and about laughing with family and friends. It’s about making the effort, whether hosting a fabulous party, rocking a great outfit, bringing the perfect hostess gift, or mailing a handwritten note to a friend who needs a smile,” said Lindsay Chastain, who serves as the store’s creative director and head buyer. “We’re proud to call the South our home, and we wanted to share with the world some of the amazing pieces Southern makers are creating.”

Items and inventory will change throughout the season, but individuals can view a sampling of the store’s product line at www.onlysouthernmade.com. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and on Saturday from noon to 5:30 p.m.
