Growler Haus is Bringing Their Craft Beer Tribe to Downtown Greer

Another new business is on tap in downtown Greer as Growler Haus is set to open their fourth upstate location this week on historic Trade Street.

“The Growler Haus team has been looking at Greer for about a year now. What continues to impress us about Greer is the proximity between Greenville and Spartanburg, the advanced manufacturing and logistics industries with above average paying jobs as well as the stellar team that is driving economic development into the Greer area,” said Growler Haus owner Craig Kinley about the decision to locate in Greer Station.

He’s not the only team member excited about the new location. Ashley Hileski, manager of the Fountain Inn Growler Haus, will manage the Greer location and is looking forward to joining the community as well. “Greer really excites us;” she said, “the location on Trade Street is a perfect fit for the type of environment we like to create for our craft beer tribe members. We like to create a coffee shop vibe, where you can kick back on a couch and enjoy conversations with friends, and coworkers while sipping some of the best regional and national craft beer around.”

It wasn’t just the opportunity downtown Greer presents that attracted Growler Haus. Craig Kinley shared praise for the welcoming community that calls it home saying, “The Greer Economic Development team is proactive and has been a pleasure to work with on this project. We have also found that the existing downtown businesses are welcoming with open arms.”

Growler Haus opens on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 213 Trade Street. Their hours are Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 am to midnight.
