A global innovator in electric vehicle (EV) design and technology has set up shop in Greer.
Genesis of Greer is now open on East Wade Hampton Boulevard. The new showroom and service center are locally owned and operated by Mark C. Escude and MCE Automotive, Inc., which also owns Toyota of Greer.
Genesis makes high-end vehicles that have won several industry awards for dependability, safety, and brand satisfaction. Just last month, the Genesis G90 won the 2023 MotorTrend Car of the Year award. The company has announced sustainability goals of becoming an all-electric brand by 2030. By 2035, Genesis says it plans to be “pursuing carbon neutrality.”
Genesis of Greer is the company’s second U.S. retail facility. The first American location is in Lafayette, Louisiana. Claudia Marquez, chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America, says, “We are glad to partner with Mark and MCE Automotive Group as we continue to move towards the next chapter of our customer focused retail experience.”
The Greer facility has the infrastructure to support the newest Genesis electric models, but the dealership will also sell used cars, trucks, and SUVs. Genesis of Greer says its new showroom will provide a stress-free environment for its customers who can opt to have their new cars delivered to their homes or places of business.
Owner Mark C. Escude says community is at the heart of everything they do.
We are pleased that Genesis of Greer will play an important role in delivering an unparalleled automotive retail experience to customers in our community.”
Genesis of Greer celebrated its grand opening with a $15K donation to Greer Relief whose mission is to help people suffering from poverty or financial crisis overcome barriers to success.
