Depot Gifts Opens in Greer Station

The Greer Development Corporation is pleased to announce the opening of Depot Gifts, a coffee and gift shop.  The new establishment is located at 300-D Randall Street in the Greer Station.  Along with sales of hot coffee, they will be selling railroad gift items, Amish food, packaged sandwiches, snack foods, and other select gifts.  Owners are Dean and Kim Karr. Their son Brian will be managing the day to day operations.

“Depot Gifts is another ‘quality’ business to open in Greer Station,” stated Ruthie Henkin, the President of the Greer Station Association (GSA).  “Everyone here in the Greer Station is very excited for Depot Gifts.”  Greer Station is the Historic Downtown area that has experienced over 20 new business openings in the last two years.

“We searched the area market on were to open our business and felt Greer Station is where we need to be,” said Brian Karr.  “Being located in Historic Downtown Greer is a perfect fit for our business.”

“Our downtown has seen substantial growth and renovation.  Depot Gifts is a welcome addition to our diversifying base of businesses,” said Richard K. Blackwell, Commercial Director for the Greer Development Corporation. “The owners saw the potential in downtown Greer and decided now is the right time to take advantage of it before the opportunity passes by.”
