The Greer Development Corporation and the Greer Station Association are pleased to announce the opening of Confections Carnival Food in Greer.
Kelvin Miller, a familiar name at many Greer events, is thrilled to open Confections Carnival Food at 1209 W. Poinsett Street in Greer, SC. For the past five years, Miller has operated the very successful Jam Concessions at State and County fairs, festivals and carnivals. While continuing to provide Jam Concessions’ top quality service and fun foods via the Jam Concessions’ trailer at fairs, carnivals and events throughout the Upstate, Miller will now offer their menu year-round at Confections Carnival Food in Greer. Beginning in January of 2012 patrons can enjoy fried Oreos, funnel cakes, sausage dogs, candied apples and a variety of other fun fair food items at Confections Carnival Food at 1209 W. Poinsett Street in Greer. Store hours are expected to be Monday through Saturday from 11am to 8pm.
“We chose Greer for a year-round location to compliment our fair and carnival work primarily because of the incredible response we get to the Greer Family Fest,” says owner Kelvin Miller. “We have participated as a vendor in the Greer Family Fest for the past two years and our customers constantly tell us they wish our product were available year-round. The City of Greer and its residents have been incredible. We could not have chosen a better place than Greer,” said Miller.
Confections Carnival Food plans to open on January 19th, 2012 and will hire 5 employees.
